Holaaaa everybody!
There's honestly not a ton new this week! Because I'm new in the mission and have additional studies and meetings, and because Hna. Glauser is in charge of English classes, I think we spend about 10 hours every day doing studies, or at Centro (English classes).
However, one of the blessings of all these meetings is that we are never
outside between about 10 and 4 so we miss the really hot time of the day.
Some fun things of this week:
Some fun things of this week:
1. We had our second member dinner on Saturday, and they had an adorable little 8-year-old girl who was wearing a future missionary tag and talked to us the whole time. However, as I'm just sitting there, minding my business, eating the spiciest taco of my life, out of nowhere she goes "You have a Gru nose! You look like Gru!"
Hna. Glauser and I nearly fell off our chairs we were laughing so hard and
then I think the girl felt bad because she tried to save it by going (like 40
seconds later) "No, we all have Gru nose! Look, big nose, big nose, big nose!" I've actually never been as humbled as I was in that moment.
Also, I gave her one of Myron's bookmarks for those of you in the 1st ward who know what I'm talking about.
2. On Saturday, one of the Elders’ friends decided she wanted to get married so she could be baptized next weekend. The wedding ended up happening on Sunday after being canceled and rescheduled 3 times in 24 hours, but it was fun! Felt kinda’ Vegas shotgun wedding vibes but they were happy and now she's getting baptized on Saturday so it's a win for everyone.

Something really cool that happened this week was with our friend Mailin. She's kind of impossible to contact and get in touch with, and any time we've stopped by she's never been home. There was one night where we didn't really know what to do or where to go, so we just decided to stop by and see if she was maybe home, and when we got there, she was actually home! We showed her the Questions of the Soul cards and she kept them all and said she'd look them up so we have hope for her.
That's all for this week, hopefully this next week has more going out and some more adventures. Hope you're all doing well!
