Transfer news is that I'm staying in my area, and I'll be with Sister Gadd!! Honestly didn't see either of those things coming, but it'll be a fun one!!
The highlight of the week was going to the temple with Jeziel! He was able to be baptized for his dad in the temple, and it was the most tender moment of my whole mission, honestly. Like I just sat in that witness chair and tried not to fully sob because it's so amazing to see friends progress as much as Jeziel has. To go from an uninterested phone call to him being baptized and baptizing in the temple is a crazy thing, and it's just so awesome because I know how much his life is going to be blessed for it!!
My favorite scripture from this week was Ether 3:5 which says, "Behold, O Lord, thou canst do this. We know that thou art able to show forth great power which looks small unto the understanding of men." Christ can do anything. The brother of Jared doesn't say "we believe" or "we hope". He says, "we know" and I can testify that I know that the Lord can do all things. The first time I talked to Jeziel, he told me he wanted to come to church to play soccer and learn English. And to look at where he is now, I know it wouldn't have been possible without the Lord's power. It might seem small at times, but that power does more than we can ever imagine.
