This week was a rollercoaster of everything so here we go.
Some highlights of this week:
Zone Conference! I've always loved Zone Conference, but this one was amazing, and I felt like every single training and message was perfect for me. There was one invitation which was to ask these 3 questions in our prayers every day until we have an answer:
1. God, are you there?
2. Do you love me?
3. Will you help me become better?
I want to invite you all to do it as well because it was such a cool experience for me and is probably my favorite zcon invite I've ever done.
Learn Of Me Invite! Another invitation from Zone Conference was to study 20 Teachings of the Atonement in the Book of Mormon. We were given 6 hours to study yesterday, and it was such an interesting day. I was planning on going through the whole list, but there are so many footnotes, references, hymns, talks, etc, that are tied into each chapter that I don't even think I made it halfway. Y'all should go through the list (pic below) and read the chapters because it really helped me strengthen my testimony of Christ, the Atonement, the Book of Mormon, just so many things!
Christmas Music Devotional! We had another music devotional as a mission, and it was such a spiritual bomb. The music was so beautiful, and everyone was in tears at one point or another because the Spirit was so strong.
Speaking of music, we got to go to the Jenny Oaks Baker Christmas Concert last night!🥳 I'm going to be honest, I didn't really think I'd be attending many concerts on my mission, but it was one of my favorite things I've been able to do. Listening to violin and piano and all of the beautiful songs, it was so much fun AND we got a recent convert to go! He loved it and was so happy afterwards and said he felt so peaceful. It was so much fun!
Now, for the sad news of the week. Sister Glauser, my trainer/mom/2nd older sister/celestial friend, unfortunately had to go home today for health reasons.😭😭😭 It was kind of a surprise for everyone, so this week has been a sad one for me. I had to say goodbye to her on Sunday, and that was probably one of the worst moments of my mission. I keep trying to tell myself that it's good she's going home, and she'll definitely be back, but I haven't completely convinced myself yet. We're all praying super hard that she can get cured and come back out so that we can be comps again for 3 transfers. 🤞 So pray for Sister Glauser, and pray I survive without her here.
That's all for this week, hope y'all are having a good holiday season and are remembering the reason for the season! Love you all!
