Letter #13: October!!!🍁

Bonjou everybody!

This week at English classes we had a whole family come that spoke Haitian Creole. Unfortunately, none of our missionaries speak it so while one of the teachers taught in Spanish, the other was Google translating everything into Creole to teach them. I clearly picked up a lot. Bonjou.

Another week done! Do you know what that means? It means I've been out for 3 months now!!!😱 That's actually so wild to me I don't even believe it. It feels like it's been either 2 weeks or 9 months and I can't decide which I'd prefer.

This week was interesting because we didn't have the chance to get out much due to a lot of exchanges and being sick, but we were still able to see so many miracles.

An amazing miracle this week was that we were able to hit all of our goals. Like I said, we didn't get out as much as we would have liked to and by Sunday, it was looking pretty impossible to have as many lessons as we were supposed to. However, Sunday night we managed to get 4 lessons which had literally never happened. As a result, we reached all of our goals, and it was definitely a miracle.

A fun thing from this week was the ward Family Home Evening activity last night! We had our friend Javier come, and he actually had a such fun time. We played this kinda tag game which was super fun, and everyone got so into it. This ward is such a party and all of the activities they've had have genuinely been my favorite parts of the mission.

That's kind of all for the week, but it was a pretty good week! Transfers are coming up so if you all want to start praying that Sister Glauser and I stay together for at least 1 more transfer (we're hoping 2) that would be very appreciated.

Love you all and hope you're doing well!
