Hey everyone!!!
Week 1 of MTC is done and what a week it has been. Home MTC has been a bit of a challenge for me because I’m not sure a person is supposed to sit for 10 hours a day on Zoom or video calls, but one of the pros is that I’m even more excited to leave and get going now! Every day, I have about 8-9 hours of video calls for different classes, workshops, and studies, which feels even longer than it sounds. We have 10 minute breaks between some of the classes which is definitely not long enough, but that’s when I’ll go walk laps around our backyard or play a really quick game of croquet.
My teacher, district, and companion are all amazing, and I know the MTC
was inspired when they put me with Hermana Campi Jarab. She is the
cutest person ever, she’s from Argentina, so we’ve been able to help
each other with Spanish and English, though I need a lot more help than
she does. We taught our first lesson to an MTC actor today and that was
exciting! I volunteered to say the prayer (in Spanish—I don’t know why I
did that) and every time I’ve said a prayer with Hermana Campi Jarab
this week, they’ve actually been decent. Then today when I had to say
the prayer in the lesson, my mind went totally blank and it ended up
being about four sentences long so that was unfortunate.
That’s honestly about it for the week, not much has really happened,
but hopefully next week’s letter will have more exciting stuff because
I’LL BE AT THE PROVO MTC!!! WOOT WOOT!🥳🙌
Thanks all for your support — email me!!
Love,
Hermana Pursglove
